These are heirloom quality soil scoops ready for spreading fertilizer, scooping compost and potting up seeds. They are hand forged by an American veteran using a copper braising technique, making them especially beautiful! They are crafted with a unique design that allows for a scooping and carrying, about 2 cups of soil in the Large and about 2/3 cup in the Small. The Large is hefty enough for spreading fertilizer, mulch, even pea gravel! The Small is specifically designed to fill seed starting pots, but is perfect for spreading fertilizer and and filling patio pots. As with all hand forged garden tools, a good wipe down after use keeps it rust free.
